Catalyst Convenings are discussion-based events that bring community members together to strengthen cross issue-area collaboration, create space for new & creative ideas, and connect within the Grassroots Fund community in a particular watershed/foodshed/energyshed.

Catalyst Convenings typically focus on a specific framing topic based on the Guiding Practices and are grounded in that specific community context - city, town, bioregion. A planning committee of local representatives helps design the agenda and does outreach ahead of the convening.
