The purpose of the Friends of Cabral Park is to support an inclusive neighborhood park in the Fox Point section of Providence, RI where local families, children (including over 350 children from the adjacent elementary school) and adults can gather to socialize, exercise, play and relax outdoors. The activities at Cabral Park are guided by our following core values: 1. Inclusive of all abilities and ages. 2. Build community - create opportunities for people to work together at cleanups, infrastructure builds and provide programs/events that encourage socialization, play, exercise and creativity with an infectious positive community-building spirit. 3. Maintain and improve green space - increase plantings and maintain trees, etc.
