Our Purpose

The organization’s purpose is to increase the scientific literacy of school aged children through after school, in school, remote learning, and summer camp programs. These programs shall be uniquely structured for reducing educational stress, increasing accessibility, and improving retention by using, teaching, and communicating via the arts. Activities such as lowering barriers to scientific and artistic access, connecting families and students to assistance, and advocating for our learners' needs are also a part of our purpose.The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:a. Bring any and all learners from all walks of life to scientific literacy through lower stress activities, suchas art;b. Reduce learning stressors that prohibit people from approaching science and asking questions;c. Remove barriers to science and art imposed on people by poorly built systems;d. Increase accessibility to science and art;e. Improve science retention and implementation in a learner’s personal life and community;f. Provide facilities, equipment, and learning opportunities for students of all ages to explore science andart;g. Create opportunities and collaborate with other organizations to create opportunities for our students toexplore science and art; andh. Sponsor, host, and participate in events and activities that bring science into people’s everyday lives.
