We work to help the marginalized people in our community.  These people struggle each day for basic survival.  They include the elderly, the addicted, the poor and the homeless.  We provide food, clothing , household good,  shelter in the winter, and guidance in finding aid and shelter.  We coordinate our effects with the city of Bangor , the Bangor Homeless Shelter, the Police and other organizations who are helping.  With the Covid 19 virus,  our building is closed to the public at htis time.  We are handing out boxes of foor three days a week.  We continue to provide supper 5 days a week by hadning out take out boxes.  We are now also delivering boxes to the door steps of people who are shut in.  We recieve donations of food from the supermarkets , but the supplies are down because of the increased demand at the stores.  When live gets back to normal,  we are a place where we provide basic needs and some classes in cooking, jewelry making, and art amount other classes.  In the furture we want to help people fill out online applications.  We provide a private safe place for case workers to meet with the people they are helping.
