This Group received a Grow Grant in spring 2019 to build on 2018's successful collaboration with WindowDressers to provide a way for people (especially low-income) in our community to get low-cost, energy-efficient window inserts for their homes and find other ways they can save energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels.

Our Purpose
SEA's purpose is to provide information to local homeowners about heating and energy options that would save them money and make their homes more comfortable and to provide emergency heating assistance to those in need. By assisting our neighbors to take steps to conserve energy, we reduce our fossil fuel emissions (an increasingly important step to take).
Summary of Projects
In Spring 2018, the Sacopee Energy Alliance received a Grow Grant to support their Community Build of low-cost interior storm windows to increase the energy efficiency of homes for low-income families.
