Our Purpose

The big picture goal of Project Priceless is to create a community where unhoused and exploited women and girls, especially racialized women and girls, in Worcester have safety, autonomy, and access to the resources they need to survive and thrive. We formed this group because we recognized that mainstream services often fail to meet the real needs of women navigating poverty, sexual exploitation, and housing instability. Our work centers leadership, skills, and decision-making in the hands of those most affected, ensuring that solutions are shaped by lived experience. Beyond immediate survival support, we aim to build long-term structures for economic empowerment, mutual aid, and cooperative enterprise, including initiatives like Project Spotless, our car detailing business. Ultimately, Project Priceless seeks to foster a model of community resilience, cooperation, and regeneration, showing that when women lead, communities can transform systems of neglect into systems of care, opportunity, and collective well-being.
