PITEA provides tax and energy assistance to island residents in need.   This year we are expanding our strategy to "do more than pay the bill" and are planning community events focused on home energy efficiency which will result in lower home energy costs.Additionally, PITEA hosts monthly community dinners September through May to raise funds for the tax and energy assistance and foster community interaction and engagement.  The community dinners are well attended, averaging 50-60 people in attendance and are made possible by 20+ volunteer cooks, prep and clean up crews.
