Our purpose is to bring fresh, local food and goods to the heart of rural Ludlow, Vermont through a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. Ludlow Farmers Market fosters community development by providing space for local businesses to sell products directly to consumers in a visible and accessible location. We strive to make a farmers' market that is not class-exclusive or financially inaccessible for consumers or business owners by facilitating food assistance programs and offering dynamic pricing. The town of Ludlow was lacking an active farmers' market despite demand, and the changes we have made in two years to further this mission have brought renewed interest in our town and local food economy. We hope to continue providing this space for many years to come, and look forward to opportunities that will allow usto expand our efforts, which includes sourcing and providing more educational and mutual aid resources to our community through our established presence in Ludlow.
