GOOD HELPER FOUNDATION
Our Purpose
We aim to assist new coming immigrant parents and school-aged children here in Maine, currently living in hotels and shelters, in finding appropriate housing. Our goal is to act as intermediaries between the municipality and property owners. We'll negotiate property terms, co-sign leases, and provide deposits on behalf of these immigrants to secure suitable home. We are dedicated to facilitating comprehensive educational training sessions on Human Rights. Our target audience includes a diverse range of employers, employees, and students from 3rd to 12th grade across various schools in the State of Maine. These training sessions will encompass a variety of components, including video presentations, interactive learning sessions, the issuance of certificates of completion, and provision of refreshments. Our primary objective with this Human Rights educational program is to equip employers, employees, and students with essential knowledge and values. By doing so, we aspire to cultivate a more equitable and inclusive environment, both within educational institutions and workplaces. Our approach involves creating a realistic, meticulously planned, and effectively executed training scenario. Through this, the Good Helper Foundation aims to generate a tangible impact on the lives of students, promoting a deep understanding and profound respect for Human Rights within the younger generation and the broader workforce.
