Our purpose is to reduce the heat island effect in EJ communities by planting trees in public parks and public housing. In 5 years we have planted 150 trees (10-15 feet tall) native species in 5 public housing location and 3 public parks in Boston, Cambridge, and Gloucester. We are looking to plant the next 25 trees in 2 public housing locations in Gloucester in Spring 2026. We are in the last stages of filing our 501(c)3 with the IRS.
