Please provide a brief description of the project for which you seek funding.

GreeningRozzie is a community organization dedicated to making the Boston neighborhood of Roslindale "a greener, more sustainable and more cohesive community. by working together to promote and implement grassroots projects and activities." Organized 18 months ago, GreeningRozzie has an impressive track record relative to its age and resources. There are approximately 30 very active and dedicated volunteers, and over 500 more individuals who have expressed interest in getting involved in the various GreeningRozzie projects that are related to areas of interest listed below. In addition to the specific 'green objectives'; a further goal is to expand the reach of GreeningRozzie to include wider representation of the diverse neighborhood of Roslindale. Outreach is needed to reach more low income and non-English speaking residents. GreeningRozzie will retain bi-lingual two interns (target will be Spanish and Haitian-Creole) who are Roslindale residents at $1000/each for a period of one year to plan and implement an outreach effort to the constituents of the Roslindale community that are currently under-represented in the membership (mailing list) and who would both benefit from GreeningRozzie projects and who could help further the GreeningRozzie mission by becoming future neighborhood environmental promoters and leaders.

Project Summary
