Step 2: Ask 10 friends

To fund the first 2010 grant round, NEGEF needs at least 10,000 people to root$hare.

Please help by asking 10 people to join you.

With 1,000 groups in the NEGEF network, and each group getting 10 people to give $10, we will reach our goal of $100.000.

root$hare:

  1. Noun: An individual donation of $10 (or more) that, combined with the contributions of others, will directly fund and support New England's grassroots groups.

  2. Verb: The individual act of contributing for a collective good and inviting others within your extended network of friends to do the same.

root$hares will collectively help build the 2010 NEGEF resource pool with dollars, technical assistance and networking services for community groups around the region.

This is about the grassroots coming together to share resources and ensure vibrant, strong local democracies.
