RI's Southside Community Land Trust Gets Dirty
Located in South Providence, Rhode Island, NEGEF grantee Southside Community Land Trust (SCLT) is committed to the belief that city dwellers are entitled to a healthy environment. On May 15th, community members and local students came together to celebrate the 1st State House Garden in Montpelier, VT. Organizers hope the garden will inspire Vermonters to plant their own gardens and encourage new and novel ways to strengthen local food systems.
