CT Folk’s Tour des Farms is a 25-mile leisure bicycle ride to local farms, greenhouses, orchards, and other agricultural treasures in the greater New Haven area: Hamden, Cheshire and North Haven. The route takes in lightly travelled scenic country roads, rolling hills, pleasant residential streets and a few miles on a paved linear park. At each stop along the road there will be a musician from Connecticut. Activities at the Tour sites range from a tour of the site, shopping at a site’s retail venue, or simply a quick stop for a break and a few good songs. All proceeds from the Tour des Farms benefit the educational programs of the nonprofit organization CT Folk.
